A bright light flooded all of your senses as an old memory relived itself in your dream. You were at the clean, peaceful riverside that had been near the house of your childhood. You were running and playing along the banks; enjoying yourself, but taking care to keep a close and watchful eye on your little brother. He smiled at you, and you embraced him tightly. Unlike most siblings, you two were inseparable, even with a five year age difference. James, your brother, had always been a rather small and fragile little boy; invoking your protective instinct to a point of near guardianship.
Suddenly, a call drifted through the air. You both raced back to the house, and into the arms of your beloved mother and father. They held you close, but instead of saying the usual "We love you", they spoke words of reassurance. You gently pulled yourself out of their embrace with a question, but stopped short at the sight of your mother's heartbroken tears. Your mouth opened to ask a question, but a loud noise cut you off. The world went white and you opened your eyes.
You were lying on soft bed with pale sheets. A few moments passed before you were able to remember where you were and what had happened, but once it did all traces of fatigue and lethargy vanished. You lifted yourself off the bed and walked over to the window. You knew that it had been locked the night before to prevent your escape, but even so you pulled on handles repeatedly. After assuring yourself for the fifth time that they were indeed stubbornly closed, you gave a sigh and made to return to the bed. Before you could reach it however, the doors opened and you jumped from the noise.
That butler from yesterday was there, the one with inhuman strength. Sebastian, as your previous target and current captor Ciel Phantomhive had called him. You meet his crimson eyes disdainfully, still a bit unforgiving after his treatment of you the night before. And also, you really aren't much of a morning person. You opened your mouth to let out a snide remark, but were silenced by his unexpected and courteous bow.
"My young master has requested your presence in his library, and I assume further dealings shall proceed from there. Allow me to escort you, Miss." He straitened and extended his hand for you to take.
You stared completely dumbfounded at this new turn in his behavior. Since when was an assassin who had been completely intend on annihilating the head of the household not only treated civilly, but as an honored guest? Either way, you didn't trust this new course of action and decided to test it. Naturally, you did this in the way you best knew how to.
Defiance.
Smirking at him, you lowered yourself into a comfortable armchair and made it quite obvious that you had no inclination of moving any time soon. You even gripped the sides of the chair for good measure, all the while analyzing the butler's calm and impassive features. Your grin widened as you sensed a small victory; which is why you were completely stunned to suddenly you find yourself wrenched to your feet unceremoniously. Sebastian had once again, with his lighting fast speed, defeated your attempts without effort. He had your wrist in an iron grip as he dragged you out the doorway and into the hall. Once there, he pinned you to the tastefully decorated wall. Again. You inwardly rolled your eyes. Was this going to become a habit now?!
"I wouldn't test my patience Miss. My master has ordered me to show you respect and dignity as I would a guest. I can't imagine why, but I am not one to question his orders. I would suggest that you be grateful for his generosity and cooperate, otherwise we shall be forced to deal with you more harshly."
He released you and backed away a bit, and allowed you to resume your regular breathing schedule. You had no chance against him, that much was painfully obvious. For now, it would be best to just go along with it and see how things played out. Patience had been part of your training, and although it may not seem like it, you had a good amount when it came to missions. Taking a deep, calming breath of air, you took the butler's hand and allowed him to lead you back to the study.
One thing was for sure: your employer better be ready to pay more than the usual fee for the completion of this assassination.

Sebastian x Assassin!Reader - The Target (Pt 1)
~Your POV~
It was a cold, winter night. I was crouching on top of a brick wall that surrounded a property. I wore a black cloak with a hood and a black skin tight outfit, as well as a black mask that covered most of my face, only my (e/c) eyes could be seen. I always wore black as a way to hide in the shadows. I also had personalized hidden blades around my wrists. I hopped off the wall and quickly made my way toward the manor. Earlier, I saw a carriage enter the property, and saw the target enter his manor.
I had observed the house for a few nights already, looking around for entrances, exits, and hiding spots. Every little detail in that

Ciel x reader, A true Gentleman, part 2
~Sebastian's P.O.V.~
The young lord has been restless for the past two weeks.
He has been going to the garden lots more, and always looks at some certain (F/C) flowers.
I've seen him drift of while people talk sometimes and he doesn't ask for things as much as before.
"My lord, i have noticed that you have been acting different lately. Is there something wrong?" I walked into his study and saw him leaning his head on his hands and staring blankly infront of him.
When i entered the room he looked up for a moment and quickly sat up again.
"W-what's the matter Sebastian, why did you just enter my room without knocking?" He said and looked at m

As soon as I yelled ‘GO!’ all of us on the prey team ran as fast as we could into the woods. Many of us girls (including me), ripped our shoes off as we ran, because heels and running do not mix; especially in the woods. As soon as I am out of direct eyesight of the predators I dart off towards the left. I doubt that any of them would think to run in a different direction so close to the start.
I am able to quickly find a small hill that drops to a blind fall with an overhanging ledge, creating a sort of small cave. Perfect! I gather up my dress and squeeze myself as far under the ledge

Author's Note: Forgive me! I know that I promised this almost a month ago, and I know everyone waited so long and looked forward to it so much. High school was a lot harder to adjust to then I thought it would, and I was completely swamped with stuff to do for a while. Again, I'm sorry and I'll do my best to prevent such a delay in the future.
